Christie Lourdes was once a highly successful business professional in Risk Management — respected in his career, yet deeply broken within. The mid-1990s brought a period of severe crisis: alcoholism, violence, and grief following the death of his beloved sister, Rose, to cancer in 1994.
In 1995, Christie was hospitalised with a life-threatening liver abscess and fluid-filled lungs. Doctors were unable to identify the cause and declared it untreatable. In desperation, Christie turned to an occult practitioner — and while there was temporary relief, it did not last.
It was only when Christie turned to Jesus Christ in prayer — choosing to forgive those he believed had wronged him — that something extraordinary happened.
